Biwak#20 Constructive Alps 2017. Sustainable Renovation and Construction in the Alps

October 22, 2017 till February 25, 2018

Revitalizing the hearts of villages, regional and renewable materials, a circumspect approach to the existing building culture – sustainable architecture takes many forms. It shapes the identities of places and creates spaces where people feel at home. The architectural prize “Constructive Alps”, awarded by the Swiss Federal Office for Spatial Development and the Office of Environment in the Principality of Liechtenstein, presents sustainable projects from the seven Alpine countries. The exhibition shows the nominated structures and takes the general public on a tour around the prizewinning buildings. The competition is accompanied by a special edition of the architectural journal Hochparterre.
