ZEWO seal of quality awarded to Alpine Initiative

The ZEWO Foundation awards seals of quality to organizations that fulfill its test criteria. The seal guarantees that the organization is trustworthy and uses donations in a conscientious manner. ZEWO has examined and approved the work of the Alpine Initiative.

The seal of quality signifies:

  • a targeted, efficient and effective use of donations
  • transparent information and meaningful accounts
  • appropriate independent control structures
  • honest communication and fair fundraising

Alpine Initiative

The Alpine Initiative is a Swiss asscociation. In 1989 the association launched the popular initiative "for the protection of the Alpine region from transit traffic", that was accepted on the 20th February 1994 by a majority of both the Swiss population and the cantons.
